The National Museum houses almost 14 million items from natural history, arts, music and librarianship. It also has a number of temporary exhibits in the Hollareum exhibit hall on the ground floor of the main building. The Historical Institute of the Army of the Czech Republic is a museum, a book and a scientific researching institution which gathers and stores objects of cultural inheritance about the history of the Czech military, the Czechoslovak army and the Army of the Czech Republic. The Villa Bertramka is a place connected with the name of one of the greatest world composers - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
